Terms of Use – Habstick

Welcome to Habstick, a habit-tracking application developed and maintained by Rishad. By downloading, accessing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Use.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the application.

Acceptance of Terms

By using Habstick, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms of Use. These terms apply to all users of the application.

License to Use

Habstick grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You agree not to:

  • Modify or copy the application
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
  • Use the app in a way that disrupts its functionality
  • Use the app for unlawful or harmful activities

User Data

All habits, progress records, and related information created within Habstick are stored locally on your device. Habstick does not upload or store your habit data on external servers. You retain full ownership and control of your data.

Local Encrypted Backups

Habstick provides an optional local encrypted backup feature.

Backups:

  • Are stored as encrypted JSON files
  • Use AES-256-CBC encryption
  • Are generated locally on your device

The encryption key is generated internally by the application and is not exposed to the user. If you lose the backup file, your data cannot be recovered.

In-App Purchases

Habstick may offer optional in-app purchases, including subscriptions and lifetime upgrades, which unlock premium features. All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store depending on your device. Habstick does not collect or store payment information. Prices may vary by region and may change in future updates.

Subscriptions

Some premium features may be offered through auto-renewing subscriptions.

By purchasing a subscription:

  • Payment will be charged to your App Store or Google Play account at purchase confirmation.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current billing period ends.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel an active subscription.

Lifetime Purchase

Habstick may offer a one-time lifetime purchase that unlocks premium features permanently.

This purchase:

  • Is a one-time payment
  • Does not expire
  • Is tied to your App Store or Google Play account

Feature availability may change as the application evolves.

Restore Purchases

Users can restore previously purchased subscriptions or lifetime purchases through the Restore Purchases feature inside the app. Purchase restoration is subject to the policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Updates to the App

Habstick may release updates to improve performance, fix bugs, or add new features. Continued use of the app after updates indicates acceptance of the updated terms.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the app if these Terms are violated.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of Indian courts.

Habstick is designed with privacy in mind. This Privacy Policy explains how data is handled when you use the application.

Information We Collect

Habstick does not collect personally identifiable information (PII). The application is designed to operate primarily offline with local data storage.

Local Data Storage

All habit data, progress logs, and related information are stored locally on your device. Habstick does not upload or store this data on external servers. You retain full ownership and control over your data.

Encrypted Backup Feature

HabStick offers an optional local encrypted backup system.

Backups:

  • Are encrypted using AES-256-CBC
  • Are stored locally on your device
  • Do not require a password

If the backup file is lost, the data cannot be recovered.

Firebase Analytics & Crash Reporting

Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics are used to improve the application.

These services may collect anonymized information such as:

  • Device model
  • Operating system version
  • App usage patterns
  • Crash reports and diagnostics

This information does not include your habits or personal data.

In-App Purchase Information

Payments for subscriptions or lifetime purchases are processed securely by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Habstick does not access or store your payment details. The app may receive non-identifiable purchase status information (such as whether a subscription is active) in order to enable premium features.

No User Accounts

Habstick does not require account registration, login, email address, or a personal profile. You can use the app immediately after installation.

Data Deletion

Because all data is stored locally, uninstalling the app will permanently remove your data unless you have exported a backup file. Habstick does not retain copies of your data.

Children’s Privacy

Habstick is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated occasionally as the application evolves. Updates will be reflected by revising the Last Updated date.
